An AlON interfacial layer is engineered within an AlN switching layer to enable transparent RRAM with four stable resistance states. The device achieves low‐voltage multilevel switching and a high HRS, allowing precise grayscale modulation and preventing light leakage in micro‐LEDs operated at VDD = 2.7 V.

Ultrasonic probe, ultrasonic imaging apparatus and ultrasonic imaging method
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2007An ultrasonic probe is disclosed for reducing the influence of electromagnetic wave leakage to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device even when the probe is inside the MRI gantry. The ultrasonic probe includes a piezoelectric material, an acoustic matching layer provided on the ultrasonic radiation side of the piezoelectric material, and backing ...

Ultrasonics, 1980
The feasibility of noise measurement in medical ultrasonic imaging has been studied and a theoretical evaluation of stochastic noise influence upon the perceived image has been undertaken. The influence of noise on a perceived image has been calculated by considering the light intensity perception characteristic of the human eye and it has been found ...

Digitization of Ultrasonic Images
Radiology, 1970Abstract The authors describe a method for digitizing diagnostic ultrasonic data using a system originally constructed for use with radioisotope scan data. A commercial ultrasonic unit drives the transducer and amplifies the preliminary echo signal. The output signals from the ultrasonic unit are fed to a programmable digital logic interface coupled to

Ultrasonic imaging of neoplasms
Cancer, 1976Reflected ultrasound scanning (echography) is rapidly developing into a prime tool for tumor diagnosis, outlining, and detection. The principles of echographic diagnosis of neoplasms, the accepted uses in detection and diagnosis, as well as some of the principles of internal and contour patterns are discussed.

Ultrasonic imaging method and ultrasonic imaging apparatus
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2004Since a number of ultrasonic beams which are transmitted within unit time is increased, an ultrasonic imaging method is capable of obtaining image information in a high frame rate or improving resolution of the image information. In an ultrasonic imaging method of transmitting an ultrasonic beam toward a measurement target located within an object ...

Registration of ultrasonic cardiac images
2005 IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology 27th Annual Conference, 2005We describe an efficient approach to the registration problem of ultrasonic cardiac images using an affine transformation model, incorporating a mutual information based error minimisation. The affine motion model provides an analytic solution which has fast and stable convergence.
