Bio‐Inspired Gradient Coatings Enhance the Leading Edge Erosion Resistance of Wind Blades
Rain‐induced erosion of the wind turbine blade leading edge poses a critical challenge to maintenance and operation. Here, we propose a bio‐inspired approach for erosion protection utilising a platelet‐reinforced polyurethane coating with a graded through‐thickness architecture.

Oxygen vacancy migration is a key degradation mechanism for the majority of MLCCs. There are limitations with spatially identifying regions of a capacitor that have degraded due to oxygen vacancy migration. This work showcases ultrasonic attenuation as a non‐electrical and nondestructive technique of identifying oxygen vacancy degraded regions of an ...

Programmable Paracrine‐Mimetic Microneedle System for Temporal Regulation of Cardiac Repair
Temporal signaling is encoded into a programmable paracrine‐mimetic microneedle patch via tris(2,2'‐bipyridyl)dichlororuthenium(II) hexahydrate/sodium persulfate‐tuned hydrogel microparticles that deliver TGF‐β, IGF‐1, and VEGF over phase‐matched 7‐, 14‐, and 28‐day windows.

A damage‐free iCVD fluoropolymer passivation strategy is introduced for ambipolar vertical OECTs. Vapor‐phase infiltration and thermal annealing induce nanoscale phase separation in the OMIEC channel, enhancing overall device performance. A single‐channel bipolar event‐driven spiking encoder is also demonstrated for electrocardiogram signal encoding ...

Monolayer MoS2 With Ultrahigh Piezoelectricity: From ALD Dose Control to Device Performance
This study demonstrates that controlling precursor dosages in atomic layer deposition (ALD) serves to regulate ultrathin oxide quality, which in turn determines sulfurization behavior and MoS2 monolayer continuity. The resulting continuous, low‐defect monolayers enable improved piezoelectric performance and support a flexible slippage sensor, linking ...

Niobium nitride (NbN) broadband plasmonic metasurface absorbers provide an efficient platform for solar‐energy conversion through hot‐carrier injection. Quasi‐epitaxial NbN features a low work function of 4.0 eV, reducing the interfacial injection barrier and facilitating charge transfer into adjacent photocatalysts.
