Ultrasonic measurement of canine testes
Theriogenology, 1993The goals of the present study were to determine if ultrasonic measurement of testicular dimensions (length, width, and height) would provide an accurate assessment of canine testicular size (weight) and to determine the relationship of these measurements to animal body weight.

Comparison of Laser Ultrasonic Testing and traditional Ultrasonic Testing
Proceedings of the Annual British Conference on Non-Destructive TestingUltrasonic inspection is a widely accepted method in the aerospace industry for detecting defects and characterizing materials. However, the traditional ultrasonic technique requires precise alignment and couplant between the ultrasonic scanner and the material, or even complete water immersion.

ULTRASONIC METHOD FOR TESTING OF POWER TRANSFORMERS
Journal of Energy = Energija, 2014Ultrasonic method of detecting PD is based on the fact that the electrical energy of the PD transforms in a mechanical energy, an ultrasonic acoustic wave that spreads through the transformer to the tank wall. From time difference of wave detection on different sensors, a possible location of the source can be estimated.
