Spheroid Cell Aggregation Enhanced by Enzyme‐Free Ultrasound‐Detached Cells
This study demonstrates that ultrasound‐based, enzyme‐free cell detachment accelerates spheroid formation by preserving surface proteins, reducing variability, and enhancing cell aggregation. Comparable engraftment and improved spatial organization in co‐cultured spheroids are observed.

This study develops a tissue‐engineered model of the atherosclerotic cap using human mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs). After 2 weeks of culture to produce a collagenous matrix, a mineralizing medium induces microcalcifications over 4 weeks. These constructs, imaged with second harmonic generation microscopy, lead to reduced ultimate stress at rupture ...

Ultrasonic Assessment of Thermal Therapy in Rat Liver [PDF]
One way to assess the efficacy of thermal therapy is to quantify changes in tissue properties through ultrasonic interrogation, which requires knowledge of the acoustic properties of thermally treated tissues. In this study, estimates of ultrasonic attenuation, speed of sound, backscatter coefficient (BSC), and scattering property estimates were ...
