Advances in transcranial doppler ultrasonography
Current Neurology and Neuroscience Reports, 2008Transcranial Doppler ultrasonography (TCD) is the only noninvasive real-time neuroimaging modality for the evaluation of characteristics of blood flow in basal intracerebral vessels that adds physiologic information to structural imaging. TCD has been rapidly evolving from a simple noninvasive diagnostic tool to an imaging modality with a broad ...

Transcranial Doppler Ultrasonography
Neurosurgery Clinics of North America, 1994Transcranial Doppler ultrasonography is an extremely useful adjunct in neurosurgical intensive care. Continuous improvements in TCD equipment as well as computer software have improved examination success and also vessel identification. Recent expanding applications of TCD have also allowed the study of disorders of control of the cerebral circulation.

Doppler Ultrasonography and Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasonography

Ultrasonography and Doppler ultrasonography in the evaluation of intraosseous lesions of the jaws
Dentomaxillofacial Radiology, 2009To evaluate the efficacy of ultrasonography and colour and power Doppler ultrasonography for diagnosis of intraosseous lesions of the jaws and to correlate the contents of the lesion with the histological findings. This study included 20 patients referred to the oral surgery clinic for treatment.

Transcranial doppler ultrasonography
Journal of neurology, neurosurgery, and psychiatryAbstract Transcranial Doppler ultrasonography (TCD) is a noninvasive, bedside procedure that can detect blood flow in the proximal cerebral intracranial arteries. TCD has multiple applications, including rapid assessment of anterior circulation blood flow in acute, large-vessel occlusion. For patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage, trends

Ultrasonography and Doppler Techniques
2019Acute kidney injury (AKI) is characterized by a rapid loss of kidney excretory function. Ultrasound (US) helps nephrologists in AKI diagnosis, in order to describe and follow kidney alterations and find possible causes of AKI. US is a safe, non-invasive, and repeatable imaging technique.

Ultrasonography of the pancreas. 3. Doppler imaging
Abdominal Imaging, 2006Ultrasonography is probably the most widely used medical imaging technique. In fact, its non-invasivity, portability, widespread distribution and good clinical results have made it the preferred method for a first imaging approach to patients in a large variety of clinical settings.

Doppler ultrasonography of the pelvis.
Radiologic clinics of North America, 1992TVS has brought the pelvic organs closer to us than ever before. Color Doppler probes have exposed small vessels that could not be seen with real-time technique alone, and pulsed Doppler is becoming an important adjunct in many physiologic and pathologic states.

Application of Doppler Ultrasonography in Cattle Reproduction
Reproduction in Domestic Animals, 2007ContentsThe development of Doppler processing extended the scope of sonographic imaging from an anatomical to a physiological basis. This technique became established as a clinical tool in human gynaecology. For example, it has been discussed that the implantation of an embryo is influenced by the uterine blood flow.
