Effects of age on levator function and morphometry of the levator hiatus in women with pelvic floor disorders [PDF]
Epidemiological data supports the hypothesis that ageing is a risk factor for pelvic organ prolapse. In this study, we intended to determine the effect of age on levator function and morphometry in women with pelvic floor disorders. Three hundred seventy-

Understanding pre‐eclampsia and fetal growth restriction at high altitude: A narrative review
Abstract Pre‐eclampsia (PE) and fetal growth restriction (FGR) are among the leading causes of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality worldwide. Both conditions are more frequent and severe at high altitudes due to physiological changes in oxygen availability and vascular adaptation.

Multicompartmental prolapse: A comparative study between clinical examination and ultrasound
Abstract Objective The accurate diagnosis of multicompartment pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is fundamental to surgical success. This study aims to compare the diagnostic performance of transperineal ultrasound against clinical examination (pelvic organ prolapse quantification, POP‐Q) for the detection of compartmental defects in patients with ...

Abstract Objective Methotrexate is widely used to treat ectopic pregnancy (EP). Concerns about its teratogenicity have led to uncertainty regarding the optimal interval before attempting conception. Guidelines recommend a 3‐month washout period, while the manufacturer advises 6 months. Evidence on the safety of early conception is limited.

Lung POCUS exams do not appear to affect the cardiorespiratory stability of intubated neonates, suggesting that lung POCUS can be performed without affecting cardiorespiratory stability within the NICU setting on critically ill neonates for diagnostic purposes.
