Prediction of birthweight by fetal ultrasound biometry
The method of measurement of abdominal circumference (AC) is not stated in the paper by Nzeh et al [1]. It is known [2] that measurements based on derived values of AC, such as ellipse fitting or computation from two linear measurements, differ from measurements based on tracing around the outline, the latter being approximately 5% greater.
