HARPO: a TPC as a gamma-ray telescope and polarimeter
A gas Time Projection Chamber can be used for gamma-ray astronomy with excellent angular-precision and sensitivity to faint sources, and for polarimetry, through the measurement of photon conversion to $e^+e^-$ pairs.

Ultrabroadband Spacetime Nanoscopy of Terahertz Polaritons in a van der Waals Cavity
This work introduces SYnchrotron SpaceTimE Mapping (SYSTEM), which captures real‐time evolution of polariton wave packets with ∼10 nm spatial and sub‐100 fs temporal resolution across an ultrabroadband 5 to 50 THz range. Here, SYSTEM directly visualizes the creation, interference, and decay of multiple high‐quality Fabry‐Pérot phonon polariton cavity ...

Things at Work: How Things Contribute to Performing Work
Abstract A crucial question for organizations is what constitutes work performance. While the importance of human competence and motivation to work performance has been established, less well understood is how ‘things’ – such as algorithms, tools, instruments, and raw materials – contribute to work performance.

Constraints on the Lyman Continuum Escape from Low-mass Lensed Galaxies at 1.3 ≤ z ≤ 3.0
Low-mass galaxies can significantly contribute to reionization due to their potentially high Lyman continuum (LyC) escape fraction and relatively high space density. We present a constraint on the LyC escape fraction from low-mass galaxies at z = 1.3–3.0.

UVSat: a concept of an ultraviolet/optical photometric satellite
Time-series photometry from space in the ultraviolet can be presently done with only a few platforms, none of which is able to provide wide-field long-term high-cadence photometry.

Abstract Jupiter's most intense jet at planetographic latitude 23.7°N experiences vigorous planetary‐scale disturbances. The onset consists of the outbreak of 1–3 bright clouds of convective origin developing turbulent plumes. Observed events between 1970 and 2025 shows a cycle of activity with a period in the range of 3.8–5.1 yrs interrupted between ...

Abstract In this study, we use the Specified Dynamics Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model with thermosphere‐ionosphere eXtension (SD‐WACCM‐X) to investigate how the migrating solar semidiurnal tide (SW2) in the mesosphere and lower thermosphere (MLT) responds to the strength of Arctic and Antarctic Stratospheric Polar Vortices (SPVs).

We investigate the impact of environment on quiescent galaxy (QG) size evolution using the CLAUDS+HSC imaging covering 18.6 deg ^2 in five broad filters ( Ugriz ) and the effective radius of a single-Sérsic fit as a proxy for galaxy size.
