Medical Education Board Game: Interactive Learning [PDF]
Background: Researchers have been interested in promoting improved retention of medical knowledge through custom designed board games for a number of years (Bochennek, et al 2007, Karbownik et al, 2016, and Shaw et al 2013).

What Was Homer Honing in the Odyssey?
Abstract We summarize the data provided in Homer's the Odyssey concerning Odysseus' journey and suggest a completely new view of what was Homer trying to convey to us. We suggest that Homer was honing the idea of synergy between rules (determinism) and chance (randomness), an idea deeply rooted in natural processes as well in mathematics.

The solar flare and cosmic gamma-ray burst experiment aboard the Ulysses spacecraft [PDF]
The HUS-Ulysses team has prepared an instrument for the Ulysses spacecraft consisting of 2 Csi detectors and 2 Si surface barrier detectors for measuring x rays in the range 5 to 200 keV with up to 8 ms time resolution.

Application of a MHD hybrid solar wind model with latitudinal dependences to Ulysses data at minimum [PDF]
In a previous work, Ulysses data was analyzed to build a complete axisymmetric MHD solution for the solar wind at minimum including rotation and the initial flaring of the solar wind in the low corona.

A Comparison of MAVEN SIR Observations With the Stationary WSA‐ENLIL Solar Wind Model
Abstract Predicting times of arrival and properties of space weather events, such as coronal mass ejections and stream interaction regions (SIRs), has become an important focus of the space physics community within recent years. Extensive efforts have been undertaken to model these space weather events throughout the heliosphere in order to better ...

Modeling the Motion and Distribution of Interstellar Dust inside the Heliosphere [PDF]
The interaction of dust grains originating from the local interstellar cloud with the environment inside the heliosphere is investigated. As a consequence of this interaction the spatial distribution of interstellar dust grains changes with time.

Fluid Flow at the Top of Jupiter's Dynamo Region
Abstract The magnetic main field (MF) and secular variation (SV) models for Jupiter can be used to gain insights about the internal dynamo and the flow that drives the field. We use two such models computed from Juno observations up to spherical harmonic degrees 16 and 8 for the MF and SV, respectively.

Strategies in Ulysses: Reading and Re-reading the Novel
Taking Leo Bersani’s proposal for a “ruseful naïveté” in reading James Joyce’s Ulysses, this study considers how a theoretical “naïve reader” would read and re-read Ulysses. Such a reader would journey through a first stage of identifying the core story
