Vessel Perforation and False Tracking Resulting From Umbilical Artery Catheterization

We report an extremely low-birth-weight neonate who developed umbilical artery perforation and false tracking. There was no life-threatening event relating to the complication. Diagnosis was made at postmortem examination.
