Methane Emissions From Flame Curtain Pyrolysis (Kon‐Tiki)

Flame curtain pyrolysis enables decentralized biochar production, but its net climate benefit depends on the magnitude of methane emissions caused during production. This study applies nanoindentation to resolve layer‐specific mechanical properties in photovoltaic backsheet multilayer polymers. Structural compliance correction reduces substrate flexure and edge artefacts, enabling reliable hardness and modulus mapping.
