Is Intergroup Contact Desired by Migrants? The Case of Unaccompanied Minors in Switzerland
ABSTRACT Intergroup contact has been shown to reduce prejudice and promote positive relationships between members of different groups, as in the case of the integration of migrants. Nevertheless, extant research has not explored the crucial question of whether members of the migrant group express a desire for ...

Unaccompanied Migrant Minors and Shared Transnational Protection: Limits and Hopes
When talking about the reception of young migrants, “complexity management” is a quite recurring topic. This is due to the fact the migrant reception is always seen – and consequently investigated – as a “systemic network”, with a focus on the minor’s potential development and on the reception context, but without a real connection with the minor's ...

A long‐lived, five‐cell‐type human neurovascular (PENTA) model recreates vascular disorganization and incomplete repair after traumatic brain injury (TBI). By integrating endothelial, glial, neuronal, and immune components within a 3D scaffold, the platform enables time‐resolved analysis of neurovascular remodeling and provides a human‐relevant system ...

Spontaneous helical alignment of smooth muscle cells is induced within resistance‐vessel‐sized channels patterned within a hydrogel. The extent of the cells’ orientation angle is dependent on the presence and composition of ECM proteins lining the channel wall and cell seeding density.

Unaccompanied Migrant Minors from Africa: The case of Mauritania
Unaccompanied foreign minors from Mauritania are almost never listed in French published statistics, although they do leave their home country as the alarmist response of local organizations can testify. To understand this apparent contradiction, a study was carried out in Mauritania, involving 395 male minors (15-18 years old) and youths (above 18 ...

Models and innovative practices for welcoming and safeguarding unaccompanied migrant minors
The number of unaccompanied minors (Uams) arriving in Italy, and in all parts of Europe, has been rising significantly in the last few years, and constitutes a particular phenomenon that has demanded considerable re-organization of the welcoming system and, more generally, the welfare system.

Pharmacokinetic engineering of clickable radioligands was achieved via albumin hitchhiking approach within a pretargeted radiotheranostics delivery platform. This approach reduced rapid renal elimination, expanded bioorthogonal capture window, boosted tumor uptake by ∼3.5‐fold, and improved the tumor‐to‐liver ratio by ∼6‐fold.
