Voltage Unbalance menyebabkan ke tidak seimbangan arus yang mengalir menuju belitan stator motor.

Namun, dalam kenyataannya masih sering ditemukan terjadi ketidakseimbangan tegangan antara fasa R-N, S-N, T-N. Ketidak seimbangan inilah yang menyebabkan motor induksi bisa mengalami overheating sehingga bisa mengganggu kinerja motor tersebut.
