Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An effective fault management scheme and comprehensive double line‐frequency ripple propagation analysis for MVDC networks

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, 2021
This paper proposes an effective fault management scheme for medium‐voltage direct current (MVDC) networks, which includes a virtual‐impedance‐based fault current limiter (VI‐FCL) on the DC side and a positive‐negative‐sequence (PNS) control scheme on ...

Microbiome−host proteostasis crosstalk—An emerging perspective on mechanisms and interventions toward healthy longevity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Providing a control method of BTB-VSC Converters under unbalanced faults

open access: yesInternational Journal of Power Electronics and Drive Systems (IJPEDS), 2022
Microgrids need control strategies to achieve maximum performance. An appropriate control strategy should have high performance in unbalanced conditions in addition to normal conditions. Today, the use of microgrids, with a variety of power sources, including solar, wind, diesel, energy storage sources to increase the capability of distribution grid ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Fault Diagnosis of Rolling Bearing with Roller Spalling Based on Two-Step Transfer Learning on Unbalanced Dataset

open access: yesShanghai Jiaotong Daxue xuebao, 2023
Under operating conditions, bearings have a substantial service life with short failure time periods, which leads to unbalanced dataset and greatly affects the accuracy of deep learning model fault diagnosis.

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Harmonic Sequence Component Model-Based Small-Signal Stability Analysis in Synchronous Machines during Asymmetrical Faults

open access: yesEnergies
Power systems are complex and often subject to faults, requiring accurate mathematical models for a thorough analysis. Traditional time-domain models are employed to evaluate the dynamic response of power system elements during transmission system faults.
