Incorporating Unbalanced Operation Constraints of Three-Phase Distributed Generation
IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 2019In this letter, we provide a convex-concave procedure based model to approximate the unbalance operation constraints of three-phase fossil-fuel distributed generation. This model transfers the non-convex unbalanced operation constraints into an iterative convex optimization procedure.

Robust Day-Ahead Operation Planning of Unbalanced Microgrids
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, 2019The optimal energy management of microgrids in the face of uncertainty is a challenging task. It requires practical modeling of the microgrid along with an efficient decision-making tool to effectively improve the economical operation and power quality.

The Modified Thermal Circuit Model for Three-phase Unbalanced Operation of Distribution Transformers
2020 IEEE 4th Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2), 2020Distribution transformers (DT) are the core equipment of distribution power network. During the operation of DT, the internal temperature distribution is not uniform. Hotspot temperature is the most representative parameter.

Unbalanced Converter Operation
IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1966The results of a digital computer investigation of the effects of unbalanced alternating voltages on converter operation is described. The problem is approached from the standpoint of symmetrical components and an exact analysis has been carried out for an arbitrary ratio of positive and negative sequence voltages.

Operation of rectifiers under unbalanced conditions
Electrical Engineering, 1944THE development of single-anode rectifying elements has greatly stimulated the application of rectifiers to general industrial and essential duty loads. Sealed ignitron rectifiers1 have been made available in a range of ratings, and industry is vitally interested in the performance of these equipments when operated under conditions of partialanode ...

Unbalanced operation of a magnetic frequency tripler
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1982This paper considers a magnetic frequency tripler operating from an unbalanced three-phase supply. It is shown that even small unbalances can significantly alter the normal behaviour of the device and lead to undesired operating modes. This paper outlines a method of analysis and offers general guidelines for the design of stable devices.
