Statistical Modelling of the Resilient Behaviour of Unbound Granular Material
Abstract The resilient behaviour of an unsaturated, unbound granular material is a primary input used in the mechanistic analysis of pavements incorporating such layers. Various models exist for the determination of the resilient behaviour, mainly based on the output of tri-axial laboratory testing.

A Unifying Thermodynamic Model for Phase Separation and Aging of Biopolymers
Phase separation and aging of intrinsically disordered proteins are placed in a unifying framework. A thermodynamically consistent time‐dependent version of associating‐polymer theory shows how the processes are intricately coupled. Assuming aging to occur through interacting sites resulting from reversible conformational transitions, the model ...

Rhoifolin directly targets NMNAT1, thereby activating nicotinamide salvage pathway and promoting intracellular NAD+ biosynthesis. Elevated NAD+ levels enhance SIRT1 activity, leading to FOXO1 deacetylation and nuclear translocation. Nuclear FOXO1 subsequently binds to the IL‐22 promoter, upregulating IL‐22 transcription and potentiating ILC3 effector ...

Peptide‐inspired associative polymers with arginine‐like guanidinium stickers and lysine‐like ammonium spacers undergo chain collapse and liquid‐liquid phase separation induced by reversible sticker associations. Sticker valence and tunable association strength jointly control the phase behavior, chain conformation, and interfacial cohesion of these ...

Deformational properties of unbound granular pavement materials
Selection of pavement materials takes very important role in pavement design procedure. The understanding of pavement structure behavior under cyclic loading is necessary in order to assure its serviceability during a predicted structure life. Unbound granular material layers in pavement structure represent a base for upper construction and their ...
