In this paper we study the Dirichlet problem for linear second order elliptic partial differential equations of Cordes type in unbounded domains. We obtain some existence and uniqueness results.

In this paper we study the Dirichlet problem for second order, linear elliptic partial differential equations in divergence form with discontinuous coefficients in unbounded domains. We obtain conditions for the Fredholm alternative and conditions for uniqueness of the solution.
