Comparison of time‐of‐flight and MIEZE neutron spectroscopy of H2O
We report a comparison of modulation of intensity with zero effort (MIEZE), a neutron spin–echo technique, and neutron time‐of‐flight spectroscopy, a conventional neutron scattering method. The basis of this comparison is provided by measurements performed on pure water under the same measurement conditions. We report a comparison of modulation of ...

A Smithian Political Economy Approach for the Competition Law of the 21st Century
This study aims to show how a Smithian political economy approach could assist competition law in addressing the challenges of the 21st‐century economy. We revisit Smith's Wealth of Nations to provide a more nuanced understanding of his views, contrasting them with the prevailing libertarian interpretation called here ‘Chicago Smith’.

We assess tiger (Panthera tigris) population connectivity potential in 11 Southeast Asian landscapes in relation to landscape configuration, broad‐scale recovery potential, vulnerabilities in habitat structure, and management priorities. Broad‐scale connectivity potential in the region was represented by only four contiguous core habitat patches within

The logic of idealization in political theory
Abstract The role of ideals and idealizations is among the most vigorously debated methodological questions in political theory. Yet, the debate seems at an impasse. This paper argues that this reflects a fundamental ambiguity over idealization's intended inferential logic: the precise way in which idealizations might yield normative knowledge.

Modeling routing problems in QUBO with application to ride-hailing
Many emerging commercial services are based on the sharing or pooling of resources for common use with the aim of reducing costs. Businesses such as delivery-, mobility-, or transport-as-a-service have become standard in many parts of the world ...

‘Clinging Together Against the Dark’: A Pragmatist Reading of Sustainability Conversations
ABSTRACT In this paper, we present a typology of managers' interpretations of sustainability as ‘narrative fields’ derived from a qualitative multi‐site study and offer a Pragmatist reading of the results. Pragmatism is grounded in an ethic of meliorism, the belief in the possibility of gradually improving the world through human effort and ...
