THE APPLICATION OF REGRESSION ANALYSIS IN TESTING UNCOVERED INTEREST RATE PARIT

open access: yesQuantitative Methods in Economics, 2013
The aim of the paper is to evaluate and compare two linear regression models proposed by Froot and Frankel (1989) and to show their application in verification of the uncovered interest rate parity (UIP) hypothesis in the selected ten exchange rate ...

Lactation is Associated with Accelerated Postpartum Pelvic Floor Muscle Recovery in a Pregnant Simulated Birth Injury Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Healthy pelvic floor muscles (PFMs) are essential for proper pelvic floor function. The biggest risk factor for PFM dysfunction is injury sustained during vaginal childbirth, yet the factors that facilitate or impair PFM recovery from birth injury remain unknown.

Decoupling Intrinsic Molecular Efficacy From Platform Effects: An Interpretable Machine Learning Framework for Unbiased Perovskite Passivator Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes an interpretable machine learning framework that disentangles the intrinsic molecular efficacy of passivators from experimental platform effects—enabling unbiased, high‐throughput discovery of effective perovskite surface modifiers.

Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

FOREIGN EXCHANGE RATES IN CENTRAL EUROPEAN ECONOMIES: NONLINEARITIES IN ADJUSTMENT TO INTEREST RATE DIFFERENTIALS

open access: yesQuantitative Methods in Economics, 2013
The aim of the paper is to examine the relation between foreign exchange rates and interest rate differentials in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. The exchange rate equations are inspired by the uncovered interest rate parity (i.e.

Rare‐Earth Mediated Engineering in ZnSe@ZnS:Eu3+ to Simultaneously Achieve Structural Modulation and Atomic Eu Doping Sites for X‐Ray Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual hard‐base anchoring strategy was developed to synthesize ZnSe@ZnS:Eu3+ quantum dots, leveraging fluoride‐oleylamine interactions to create surface atomic Eu doping sites. By precisely tuning temperature, Eu3+ concentration, and fluoride levels, we obtain morphologies ranging from tip growth to coupled flower‐like structures.

Impact of dollarisation on exchange rate volatility and rational choice of currency regime: Evidence from two EU candidate countries [PDF]

open access: yesIndustrija, 2017
Objective of this paper is to empirically examine whether widespread unofficial dollarisation plays significant role in determination of exchange rate dynamic in Turkey and Serbia, as one big and one small of the EU candidate countries under managed ...

Pharmacological Inhibition of FKBP51 Mitigates Early Life Adversity‐Induced Social Deficits in Male Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Early life adversity triggers persistent social subordination and brain‐wide molecular dysregulation. Pharmacological inhibition of the stress‐mediator FKBP51 during the adversity period prevents these long‐term deficits and restores normative social hierarchy.

Exchange rate volatility under sanctions: the moderating role of FDI

open access: yesJournal of Applied Economics
Economic sanctions can significantly destabilize exchange rates, creating challenges for targeted economies. This study examines how sanctions—specifically export, import, and financial sanctions—affect exchange rate volatility, and explores the ...
