هناك أدلة محدودة للغاية حول التكلفة الاقتصادية للحصبة في البلدان منخفضة الدخل. لقد قدرنا تكلفة علاج الحصبة في أوغندا من منظور مجتمعي. أجرينا دراسة لتكلفة المرض على أساس الإصابة في أوغندا. أجرينا مسحًا على موظفي المنشأة، وسجلنا النفقات المتعلقة بالمستشفى لمرضى الحصبة. أجرينا مقابلات مع مقدمي الرعاية للأطفال المصابين بالحصبة في 48 منشأة رعاية صحية مختارة.
