Nanozyme‐Reinforced miR‐197‐3p Delivery Resets Metabolic and Senescence Pathways to Rejuvenate Osteoarthritic Cartilage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis (OA) is a progressive and disabling joint disease driven by oxidative stress, chondrocyte senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation, yet lacks effective disease‐modifying treatments. In this study, we identified miR‐197‐3p as a previously unrecognized, cartilage‐protective miRNA significantly downregulated in both ...

Longitudinal Single‐Axon‐Resolution Imaging of Peripheral Nerve Injury Response in Mice Using an Optical Window Implant

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A minimally invasive optical window enables stable, long‐term imaging of peripheral nerves in vivo at single‐axon resolution. Dynamic processes of degeneration, regeneration, and cellular remodeling are visualized across multiple time scales within the same nerve region, providing a unique platform to study a variety of anatomical and molecular events ...

RPLP2 Mediates the Beneficial Effects of Exercise on Stress Resistance Through Muscle–Brain Communication

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel exercise‐inducible myokine acidic ribosomal protein P2 (RPLP2), initially identified from human trials, is presented here, whose circulating levels negatively correlate with clinical anxiety severity. Muscle‐derived RPLP2 enhances hippocampal ribosomal assembly and adult neurogenesis to rescue stress‐induced anxiety deficits.

Red Blood Cells as Endogenous Biotweezers for Optical Micromanipulation In Vivo

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By synergistically integrating the long‐distance manipulation fiber probe (LDMFP) and endogenous red blood cells (RBCs) as biocompatible optical elements, a natural RBC biotweezer was developed for the desired microparticle manipulation and immune cell activation within living vasculature, which might offer an alternative tool for intravital optical ...
