Beyond Extracellular Vesicle (EV) Hype: Practical Solutions and Remaining Hurdles in EV Research, Manufacturing, and Clinical Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoscale mediators of intercellular communication with diverse molecular cargoes that reflect their cell of origin. Advances in isolation, detection, and single‐particle analytics have revealed increasing molecular and functional heterogeneity, while exposing limitations in how EV identity and activity are ...

Numerical Parametric Studies on the Stress Distribution in Rocks around Underground Silo

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
The underground silo was constructed as a facility for the disposal of low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste. It is divided into three parts: the upper-dome core, the lower-dome core, and the cylindrical-space core.

Tyrosinase Driven‐Intracellular Polymerization of a Porphyrin Derivative Induced Immunogenic Death of Melanoma Cells and Strengthened Photodynamic Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uses tyrosinase, which is highly expressed in melanoma, to drive porphyrins to polymerize and self‐assemble within tumor cells to form retented microstructures. This process induces immunogenic death and activates immune responses (M1 macrophages, dendritic cells, CD8+T cells), turning “cold” tumors into “hot” tumors.
