We compared Landsat‐8 OLI, SPOT, and hyperspectral data for estimating vascular plant diversity in China's Hunshandak Sandland. SPOT data showed the strongest correlation with alpha diversity, followed by hyperspectral data, with Landsat‐8 performing the weakest.

Tropical forest overstory and understory exhibit contrasting elevational α‐diversity patterns (unimodal vs. bimodal). Abstract This study quantified the effects of operational multinutrient fertilization on understory shrub, forb, and grass production in inland Northwest forests.
