Medical and Veterinary Entomology, EarlyView.Amblyomma sculptum showed a plasmatocyte‐dominant haemocyte profile. Beauveria bassiana increased plasmatocytes and reduced granulocytes, whereas Metarhizium robertsii did not cause significant changes. Amblyomma americanum showed a granulocyte‐dominant haemocyte profile. Beauveria bassiana reduced total haemocytes and granulocytes. B.
