Giant Direct Magnetoelectric Effect in Nanocomposite CoFe2O4:PVDF‐TrFE Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel three‐step grow‐etch‐fill fabrication approach creates structured cobalt ferrite/ferroelectric polymer nanocomposites with high interfacial areas. Driven by efficient strain‐mediated coupling, this crystalline system achieves a giant room‐temperature magnetoelectric coefficient nearly two orders of magnitude higher than other CFO/PVDF‐TrFE thin

Mechanophore‐Based Multichannel Colorimetric Force Sensors: Ultrasound‐Driven Stress and Strain Quantification

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mechanophores with mechanochromic properties have attracted significant attention as force‐responsive materials for structural sensing. However, their applications remain mainly limited to qualitative force visualization, as direct and quantitative extraction of mechanical parameters such as stress and strain from mechanochromic responses has ...

Solution‐Processed Multi‐Junction Optoelectronic Synapses for Mode‐Switchable SWIR Neuromorphic Vision Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel bias‐programmable shortwave infrared (SWIR) vision sensor is developed using multi‐junction colloidal quantum dots (QDs). Under varying applied voltage, the back‐to‐back rectifying junctions effectively tune trapping centers to switch the device between high‐speed photodetector and persistent synapse modes.

A Spatiotemporal Framework for Underwater Noise Modelling

open access: yesProceedings of the 19th International Symposium on Spatial and Temporal Data
Underwater noise pollution by shipping activities is widely recognised as a significant threat to marine life. The noise emitted by vessels can have various detrimental effects on fish and marine ecosystems. Therefore, accurately estimating and analysing vessel-generated underwater noise is a critical challenge for the protection and conservation of ...

High‐Current‐Density Acidic CO2 Electroreduction to Formic Acid Enabled by Multiscale Microenvironment Regulation Over Defect‐Rich Sn/SnOx

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Acidic CO2 electroreduction to formic acid is enabled by integrating mixed Sn/SnOx nanoclusters, K+‐regulated interfacial solvation, and Janus wettability. Coordinated control of active sites, interfacial water, and gas‐liquid transport suppresses hydrogen evolution and delivers approximately 85% HCOOH Faradaic efficiency at 400 mA cm−2.
