Investigation on the cavitation effect of underwater shock near different boundaries
When the shock wave of underwater explosion propagates to the surfaces of different boundaries, it gets reflected. Then, a negative pressure area is formed by the superposition of the incident wave and reflected wave.

Propagation Losses of Underwater-Explosion Shock Waves [PDF]
At very great ranges from an underwater explosion, the propagation losses of discrete frequency components of the shock wave appear to follow acoustic laws. If a reference range near the charge is used, however, the high-amplitude source characteristics must be taken into account.

Effects of underwater explosion bubble on shock environment of warship
[Objectives] In order to standardize the load system of a hull's shock environment and study the effects of bubble pulsation pressure on a hull's shock environment, [Methods] acoustic-structure coupling methods are used to simulate a hull subjected to a ...

UNDERWATER SHOCK WAVE INTERACTION WITH AIR BUBBLE
The present paper reports the visualization study of the initiation of a shock wave generated by a rebounding bubble and a micro-jet induced when the bubble is collapsed. The underwater spherical shock wave is obtained by using a 10 mg silver azide(AgN3) pellet, and visualized by using double exposure holographic interferometry.
