Insectary‐reared mosquitoes were simultaneously assessed for species identification, bloodmeal source analysis and Plasmodium detection, using a single multiplexed sequencing run on the MinION sequencing platform. The method was applied to 150 insectary‐reared mosquitoes, representing nine species blood‐fed with five vertebrate hosts and 40 samples for

Increased Genetic Instability in Exfoliated Oral Cells in Patients With Epidermolysis Bullosa
ABSTRACT Objective To analyze the nuclear abnormalities of cytotoxicity—karyorrhexis (KR), karyolysis (KL), and pyknosis (PN)—and genotoxicity—micronucleus (MN) in exfoliated cells from different sites of the oral mucosa in patients with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) and a control group.

ABSTRACT Citizen science is increasingly popular but requires training and modifications to sampling procedures so that volunteer‐collected environmental DNA (eDNA) samples can be included in biodiversity surveys. In this study, we optimised methodology for a citizen science project targeting fish taxa; ensuring simple, safe and effective eDNA sampling.

A mouse CIRI model was generated by middle cerebral artery occlusion. HBO‐PC and LRG1 siRNA knockdown were applied. Neurological function and molecular changes were evaluated. We confirmed that HBO‐PC reprograms neuroimmune metabolism through disruption of the LRG1‐HIF‐1α‐IL‐6‐STAT3 amplification Loop attenuates pyroptosis and ischemia–reperfusion ...
