Interfacial Bioengineering of Dynamic Networks Hybrid Hydrogel for Programmed Intervention in Oral Precancerous Epithelial States. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Healthc Mater
This study develops a dual‐bioinspired hydrogel, MSA@PGel (macrophage membrane‐coated and salvianolic acid B/5‐aminolevulinic acid co‐loaded liposomes embedded in a polydopamine‐based gel), that integrates macrophage membrane‐mediated active targeting and mussel‐inspired wet adhesion for programmed intervention in oral precancerous lesions.

Post Underwater Wet Welding Heat Treatment by Underwater Wet Induction Heating

open access: yesWelding Journal, 2021
Wet welding procedures of Class A structural ship steels frequently fail to comply with the American Welding Society (AWS) D3.6M, Underwater Welding Code, in the maximum hardness criterion for the heat-affected zone (HAZ). The maximum hardness accepted in a welded joint is 325 HV for higher-strength steel (yield strength > 350 MPa).

Dissimilar underwater wet welding of HSLA steels [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, 2020
AbstractThe high-strength low-alloy S460ML and S460N steels were chosen for underwater wet welding of dissimilar T-joints using covered electrodes. For improving the quality of joints, the temper bead welding (TBW) method was used. The application of TBW in pad welding conditions has been investigated earlier but the possibility of usage of this ...

Corrosion resistance of welded joints made by underwater wet welding

open access: yesTransfer of Innovative Technologies, 2021
One of the reasons of coming out of order of metal structures, operating in water environment, including sea conditions, is the corrosion. Thus, for example, the corrosion wear of metal of the ship hull underwater part can reach from 0.3 up to 0.5 mm/year. The corrosion of welds is the ever more critical situation.

Process Stability, Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Underwater Submerged-Arc Welded Steel

open access: yesMetals, 2021
In underwater wet welding, the unstable welding process caused by the generation and rupture of bubbles and the chilling effect of water on the welding area result in low quality of welded joints, which makes it difficult to meet the practical ...
