Geochemistry of low‐temperature dolomite formation in coastal and continental saline to sabkha‐like environments

This study compares primary dolomite precipitation in modern and ancient environments, varying from coastal to transitional to continental saline environments. The microbially mediated dolomites are characterised by high Sr concentrations. Here, various geochemical proxies are studied and compared to previous findings.
