Catastrophic Femoral Component Failure of a Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty
We report a case of previously undescribed medial unicompartmental knee arthroplasty failure due to femoral component implant fracture. The patient experienced sudden pain and locking while ambulating 8 years postoperatively.
