Hernia Uterus Inguinale Associated With Unicornuate Uterus
Archives of Surgery, 1989Hernia uterus inguinale, a condition in which endometrium and myometrium are found in an ectopic location in the inguinal canal, is a rare congenital abnormality in women. A woman with a normal number of chromosomes (46,XX) demonstrated the presence of a uterus, fallopian tube, and ovary in an inguinal hernia associated with a unicornuate uterus.

The unicornuate uterus: clinical implications
European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology, 1992The unicornuate uterus is associated with a poor reproductive outcome and many gynecological problems. We collected data from 45 women with a unicornuate uterus. We found a high abortion rate of 22% in the first trimester and 16% in the second trimester. Premature labor occurred in 18%.
