Long-term stability of sequential Monte Carlo methods under verifiable conditions

open access: yes, 2014
This paper discusses particle filtering in general hidden Markov models (HMMs) and presents novel theoretical results on the long-term stability of bootstrap-type particle filters. More specifically, we establish that the asymptotic variance of the Monte

Development of a Human 3D Immune‐Competent Neurovascular Model Enabling Time‐Resolved Monitoring of Neuroinflammatory Dynamics and Neuroimmune Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neuroinflammation alters blood–brain barrier integrity and contributes to neurological disorders, yet existing models lack human immune complexity. This study presents a 3D, immune‐responsive platform that reconstructs key neurovascular components and enables real‐time monitoring.

Stability and square integrability of derivatives of solutions of nonlinear fourth order differential equations with delay

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2017
In this paper, we give sufficient conditions for the boundedness, uniform asymptotic stability and square integrability of the solutions to a certain fourth order non-autonomous differential equations with delay by using Lyapunov’s second method.

Decoupling Intrinsic Molecular Efficacy From Platform Effects: An Interpretable Machine Learning Framework for Unbiased Perovskite Passivator Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes an interpretable machine learning framework that disentangles the intrinsic molecular efficacy of passivators from experimental platform effects—enabling unbiased, high‐throughput discovery of effective perovskite surface modifiers.

Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

Impedance of Nonelectroneutral Solid Electrolyte Interphases With Nanopores: A Theoretical Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Physical modeling reveals that often‐neglected non‐electroneutrality and nanopores in the solid‐electrolyte interphase (SEI) govern the impedance behavior. Under nonreactive conditions, the low‐frequency constant‐phase element (CPE) phenomenon can be attributed to the nonelectroneutral local conditions in the SEI.

On stability and boundedness of solutions of a certain fourth-order delay differential equation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1989
Using a Razumikhin - type theorem, we deduce sufficient conditions that guarantee the uniform asymptotic stability and boundedness of solutions of a scalar real fourth-order delay differential equation.

Slope restrictions and monotonicity in nonlinear systems: almost linear behavior

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2012
The problems of absolute stability and existence of forced oscillations for systems with sector restricted nonlinearities are considered. An overview of the results for systems described by ordinary differential equations with constant and periodic ...

On nonuniform exponential stability for skew-evolution semiflows on Banach spaces

open access: yes, 2010
The paper considers some concepts of nonuniform asymptotic stability for skew-evolution semiflows on Banach spaces. The obtained results clarify differences between the uniform and nonuniform cases.

Nontrivial standing wave state in frequency-weighted Kuramoto model

open access: yes, 2017
Synchronization in a frequency-weighted Kuramoto model with a uniform frequency distribution is studied. We plot the bifurcation diagram and identify the asymptotic coherent states.
