Jumping to a Uniform Upper Bound [PDF]
A uniform upper bound on a class of Turing degrees is the Turing degree of a function which parametrizes the collection of all functions whose degree is in the given class. I prove that if a _ \underline a is a uniform upper bound on an ideal of degrees then a _ \underline a is the

Non-uniform Berry–Esseen bounds via Malliavin–Stein method
In this paper, we establish non-uniform Berry–Esseen bounds by means of the Malliavin–Stein method. Applications to the multiple Wiener–Itô integrals and the exponential functionals of Brownian motion are given to illustrate the theory.

Topological Interference Management with Alternating Connectivity: The Wyner-Type Three User Interference Channel [PDF]
Interference management in a three-user interference channel with alternating connectivity with only topological knowledge at the transmitters is considered.

On the distance energy of k-uniform hypergraphs
In this article, we extend the concept of distance energy for hypergraphs. We first establish a relation between the distance energy and the distance spectral radius.

Computational Performance Analysis of Nonlinear Dynamic Systems using Semi-infinite Programming [PDF]
For nonlinear systems that satisfy certain regularity conditions it is shown that upper and lower bounds on the performance (cost function) can be computed using linear or quadratic programming.

On the nonlocal Fisher-KPP equation: steady states, spreading speed and global bounds
We consider the Fisher-KPP equation with a non-local interaction term. We establish a condition on the interaction that allows for existence of non-constant periodic solutions, and prove uniform upper bounds for the solutions of the Cauchy problem, as ...

Uniform Bounds for Black--Scholes Implied Volatility [PDF]
In this note, Black--Scholes implied volatility is expressed in terms of various optimisation problems. From these representations, upper and lower bounds are derived which hold uniformly across moneyness and call price. Various symmetries of the Black--Scholes formula are exploited to derive new bounds from old.

Matchings and Hamilton cycles in hypergraphs [PDF]
It is well known that every bipartite graph with vertex classes of size $n$ whose minimum degree is at least $n/2$ contains a perfect matching. We prove an analogue of this result for uniform hypergraphs. We also provide an analogue of Dirac's theorem on

Numerical Solution of Stochastic Partial Differential Equations with Correlated Noise [PDF]
In this paper we investigate the numerical solution of stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) for a wider class of stochastic equations. We focus on non-diagonal colored noise instead of the usual space-time white noise. By applying a spectral
