In this work, let X be Banach space with a uniformly convex and q-uniformly smooth structure, where 1 < q ≤ 2 . We introduce and consider a generalized Mann-like viscosity implicit rule for treating a general optimization system of ...

Epigraphical and Uniform Convergence of Convex Functions [PDF]
Summary: We examine when a sequence of lsc convex functions on a Banach space converges uniformly on bounded sets (resp. compact sets) provided it converges Attouch-Wets (resp. Painlevé-Kuratowski). We also obtain related results for pointwise convergence and uniform convergence on weakly compact sets.

Here, we present a novel 3D cell patterning and culture platform. The “Floor‐Ceiling‐Chip” (FC‐Chip) consists of two opposing track‐etched membranes, creating a pseudo‐3D microenvironment for the cells in between. By providing the membranes with micropatterned cell‐adhesive islands of varying geometries and sizes, the FC‐Chip enables control over cell ...

On Semi-Uniform Kadec-Klee Banach Spaces
Inspired by the concept of U-spaces introduced by Lau, (1978), we introduced the class of semi-uniform Kadec-Klee spaces, which is a uniform version of semi-Kadec-Klee spaces studied by Vlasov, (1972).

Engineered microparticle topographies direct human mesenchymal stem cell osteogenesis without biochemical additives. This osteogenic commitment is driven by canonical Hedgehog signaling and followed by temporal IGF‐II engagement. Two‐photon polymerization demonstrates spatial control, enabling the engineering of topographical gradients that pattern ...

New Characterizations of k-Uniformly Extremely Convex Banach Spaces
Two characterizations of k-uniformly extremely convex spaces are given in this paper. As special cases for k=1, two necessary and sufficient conditions of uniform extreme convexity are presented and a characteristic inequality of uniformly extremely ...

Local Uniform Kadec-Klee Property (LUKK) and Modulus of (LUKK)
A new geometry property and two new moduli are introduced in Banach space. First, the concept of local uniform Kadec-Klee property (LUKK) is introduced and the implication relationships between LUKK and local near uniform convexity LNUC, uniformly Kadec ...

Flexible Polypyrrole‐Based pH Sensors via Oxidative Chemical Vapor Deposition
Oxidative chemical vapor deposition (oCVD) of polypyrrole (PPy) thin films yields flexible, electrically conductive, and biocompatible pH sensors for monitoring on‐skin biological events. The highly sensitive, oCVD PPy skin‐conformal sensors enable real‐time, spatially resolved sensing of dynamic pH changes within physiologically relevant ranges (4–9 ...

Uniform convexity and focal points
Summary: We define the notions of uniform convexity and strict uniform convexity for Riemannian manifolds. Necessary and sufficient conditions are established for a Riemannian manifold without conjugate points to be free from focal points in terms of the uniform convexity concept.
