On stability of REM algorithm with uniform delay

Global Telecommunications Conference, 2002. GLOBECOM '02. IEEE, 2003
REM (random exponential marking) is an active queue management algorithm that is designed to achieve a desirable equilibrium, without explicit consideration to its dynamic property especially in the presence of feedback delay. We provide sufficient conditions for REM to be locally stable around an equilibrium, in a multi-link multi-source setting, when

Multiplicative Perturbation by Contractions and Uniform Stability

Zeitschrift für Analysis und ihre Anwendungen, 2007
Let T be an arbitrary bounded linear transformation of a Hilbert space into itself. We investigate classes of contractions S for which the spectral radius

The stability of uniform plasmas

1960
This thesis deals with the instabilities which can exist in infinite, uniform, collisionless plasmas having non-Maxwellian distributions of particle velocities. The instabilities are treated in terms of exponentially growing linearized plane waves in the plasma.

Uniform stability of discrete impulsive systems

International Journal of Systems Science, 2008
This article studies discrete impulsive systems. The uniform stability (uniformly asymptotic stability and quasi-exponential stability) criteria are established for linear discrete impulsive system and a class of nonlinear discrete impulsive systems, respectively.

Uniform Global Asymptotic Stability of Differential Inclusions

Journal of Dynamical and Control Systems, 2004
The authors consider the stability of differential inclusions of the type \[ x'(t)\in F(x(t)), \tag{1} \] where the state \(x(\cdot)\) evolves in \(\mathbb{R}^n\), and the set-valued function \(F\) is locally Lipschitz and takes values which are nonempty compact subsets of \(\mathbb{R}^n\).

Uniform exponential stability

1996
In this chapter we shall study the uniform growth bound ω0(T) in more detail. Our main concern is finding necessary and sufficient conditions for uniform exponential stability.

Uniform matrix stability study designs

Journal of Biopharmaceutical Statistics, 1996
Uniform matrix designs for drug stability studies are introduced and compared to standard matrix designs. Comparisons are made on the basis of design moment, D-efficiency, uncertainty, G-efficiency, and statistical power. It is shown that uniform matrix designs provide superior statistical properties with the same or fewer design points than standard ...

On the stability uniformity of infinite-dimensional systems

2007
In the infinite-dimensional context, the notion of stability depends on the choice of state space topology. This paper gives two systems with the same impulse response, both approximately reachable and observable, but one of them is exponentially stable and the other is exponentially unstable.
