An Algebraic Index Theorem for Non-smooth Economies [PDF]
In this paper, we prove an existence theorem for equilibria in production economies with increasing returns, which generalizes the classic results on this topic.

An ergodic theorem for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings [PDF]
The purpose of this paper is to prove the following (nonlinear) mean ergodic theorem: Let E be a uniformly convex Banach space, let C be a nonempty bounded closed convex subset of E and let T: C → C be an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping.

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Convergence theorems for fixed points of uniformly continuous generalized Φ-hemi-contractive mappings [PDF]
Let E be a real normed linear space, K be a nonempty subset of E and T:K→E be a uniformly continuous generalized Φ-hemi-contractive mapping, i.e., F(T):={x∈K:Tx=x}≠Φ, and there exist x∗∈F(T) and a strictly increasing function Φ:[0,∞)→[0,∞), Φ(0)=0 such ...

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Analytic continuation and fixed points of the Poincaré mapping for a polynomial Abel equation [PDF]
International audienceWe consider an Abel differential equation y′=p(x)y2+q(x)y3 with p(x), q(x) polynomials in x. For two given points a and b in C, the ``Poincar\'e mapping" of the above equation transforms the values of its solutions at a into their ...

Strong convergence theorem for accretive mapping in Banach spaces [PDF]
Suppose K is a closed convex subset of a real reflexive Banach space E which has a uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm and every nonempty closed convex bounded subset of E has the fixed point property for nonexpansive mappings.
