Uniformly Starlike Functions and Uniformly Convex Functions Associated with the Struve Function [PDF]
In this paper, our goal is to determine sufficient conditions for the family of Struve functions in order to belong to the classes of uniformly convex functions and uniformly starlike functions in the open unit disk U. Several corollaries and consequences of our main results are also derived.

On strong asymptotic uniform smoothness and convexity
We introduce the notions of strong asymptotic uniform smoothness and convexity. We show that the injective tensor product of strongly asymptotically uniformly smooth spaces is asymptotically uniformly smooth.

Local Analysis of Inverse Problems: H\"{o}lder Stability and Iterative Reconstruction
We consider a class of inverse problems defined by a nonlinear map from parameter or model functions to the data. We assume that solutions exist. The space of model functions is a Banach space which is smooth and uniformly convex; however, the data space

Class of Analytic Function Related with Uniformly Convex and Janowski’s Functions [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce a new subclass of analytic functions in open unit disc. We obtain coefficient estimates, extreme points, and distortion theorem. We also derived the radii of close-to-convexity and starlikeness for this class.

Solving 1D Conservation Laws Using Pontryagin's Minimum Principle [PDF]
This paper discusses a connection between scalar convex conservation laws and Pontryagin's minimum principle. For flux functions for which an associated optimal control problem can be found, a minimum value solution of the conservation law is proposed ...

This study investigates laser shock peening for enhancing fatigue performance of riveted aerospace aluminum joints. A comparative approach with cold expansion combines fatigue testing and synchrotron X‐ray methods. Integrating mechanical testing with residual stress and strain characterization provides insights into how different treatments affect the ...

AbstractIn this paper we study uniformly convex functions and uniformly convex functions at a point, giving some properties and characterizations of them. Further, we give some examples and applications of these types of functions.

Creep experiments at 900°C on coarse‐grained steel‐ceramic composites containing recycled magnesia reveal that higher ceramic volume fractions significantly enhance the creep resistance. Detailed EBSD investigations identify subgrain formation in the steel matrix as the dominant deformation mechanism.

A quasi-isometric embedding theorem for groups
We show that every group $H$ of at most exponential growth with respect to some left invariant metric admits a bi-Lipschitz embedding into a finitely generated group $G$ such that $G$ is amenable (respectively, solvable, satisfies a non-trivial identity,

The wettability of aluminum droplets (Al) on different copper substrates (Cu), where liquid Al spreads on solid Cu surfaces to form a liquid–solid interface, is studied numerically and experimentally. The experimental and numerical results show good agreement in the fast‐spreading regime.
