Scalable Fabrication of Height‐Variable Microstructures with a Revised Wetting Model

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Height‐variable microstructures are fabricated using a scalable CO2 laser machining approach, enabling precise control of wettability through structural gradients. Classical wetting models fail to capture height‐induced effects, necessitating a revised theoretical framework.

Scalable Manufacturing of Radiation‐Tolerant Potentiometric Electrodes: A Systematic Transition from Laboratory to Semiautomated Fabrication

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Laboratory protocols for producing thin‐film pH electrodes for sterilized single‐use technologies have been successfully developed into a semiautomated workflow, with higher throughput and precision of membrane thickness. Accuracies are within 0.05 pH units versus ground truth, and uncertainty analysis reveals the largest sources of error to be derived

Fixed Point Theorem for Monotone Non-Expansive Mappings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2021
In this paper, we study the fixed point theorem for monotone nonexpansive mappings in the setting of a uniformly smooth and uniformly convex smooth Banach space.

Fibrous Pb(II)‐Based Coordination Polymer Operable as a Photocatalyst and Electrocatalyst for High‐Rate, Selective CO2‐to‐Formate Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A coordination polymer [Pb(tadt)]n prepared by a microwave‐assisted solvothermal method selectively reduces CO2 into formate under visible light with a high apparent quantum yield of ≈25% at 400 nm. It can function as a pre‐catalyst, along with conductive Ketjen Black, to form an active PbCO3/Pb3(CO3)2(OH)2 mixture that exhibits a high Faradaic ...

Fibers over the sphere of a uniformly convex Banach space.

open access: yes, 1998
Over the past years, a significant interest has developed in the study of holomorphic functions defined on a domain in an infinite-dimensional Banach space and of their constituents (via Taylor expansions), the homogeneous polynomials.

Tunable Tactile Synapses Enabled by Erasable Doping in Iongel‐Gated Nanotube Network Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Artificial tactile synaptic sensors are realized by an iongel‐gated single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) transistor with reversible doping characteristics. The device senses and memorizes tactile stimuli and exhibits gate bias‐dependent excitatory or inhibitory synaptic behavior.

Browder's Fixed Point Theorem and Some Interesting Results in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Normed Spaces

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2010
We define and study Browder's fixed point theorem and relation between an intuitionistic fuzzy convex normed space and a strong intuitionistic fuzzy uniformly convex normed space.

Constructions of Uniformly Convex Functions

open access: yesCanadian mathematical bulletin, 2012
We give precise conditions under which the composition of a norm with a convex function yields a uniformly convex function on a Banach space. Various applications are given to functions of power type.

Characteristic inequalities of uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1991
AbstractLet X be a real Banach space with dual X∗ and moduli of convexity and smoothness δX(ε) and ϱX(τ), respectively. For 1 < p 0 such that φ(t) ⩾ cδX(t2)} and F= {ϑ: R+ → + : ϑ (0) = 0, ϑ(t) is convex, nondecreasing and there exists K > 0 such that ϑ(τ) ⩽ KϱX(τ)}. It is proved that X is uniformly convex if and only if there is a φ ϵ A such that ∥x +

Omnidirectional Transmissive Acoustic Metasurfaces Based on Goldberg Polyhedra

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces omnidirectional acoustic metasurfaces capable of manipulating wavefronts in multiple arbitrary directions simultaneously. A full‐stack pipeline for design, optimization, and fabrication is presented to construct near‐spherical holograms based on Goldberg polyhedra.
