This systematic review reports on quantitative measures of intrinsic capacity domains of the WHO Healthy Ageing model for adults with CP. Reports from 102 studies showed reduced locomotor, vitality andn possibly cognitive intrinsic capacity reserves for adults aged 30–45 years.

Children with cerebral palsy who experienced clinically significant sleep disturbances, their parents, and their siblings, were interviewed to understand the impact of sleep disturbance on the whole family. Six themes were identified, demonstrating the need for tailored, multidisciplinary, holistic sleep assessment and intervention, and family support.

Mitochondrial respiration and characteristics of skeletal muscles in children with cerebral palsy
Skeletal muscles utilize numerous mitochondria for energy production needed during muscle contraction. Mitochondria produce this energy through the electron transport chain. After an injury such as ACL‐injury in typically developing children, there is a reduction in muscle mitochondrial respiration and content.
