(Anti)symmetric multivariate exponential functions and corresponding Fourier transforms [PDF]
We define and study symmetrized and antisymmetrized multivariate exponential functions. They are defined as determinants and antideterminants of matrices whose entries are exponential functions of one variable. These functions are eigenfunctions of the Laplace operator on corresponding fundamental domains satisfying certain boundary conditions.

By recording neuronal activity from the primary somatosensory cortex and motor cortex simultaneously, during dexmedetomidine (DEX)‐induced anesthesia or sleep, we investigated the cortical response and oscillation properties across different brain areas.

Approximating the Analytic Fourier Transform with the Discrete Fourier Transform [PDF]
The Fourier transform is approximated over a finite domain using a Riemann sum. This Riemann sum is then expressed in terms of the discrete Fourier transform, which allows the sum to be computed with a fast Fourier transform algorithm more rapidly than via a direct matrix multiplication.

Abstract Objective Loss‐of‐function mutations in the GIRDIN/CCDC88A gene cause developmental epileptic encephalopathy (DEE) in humans. However, its pathogenesis is largely unknown. Global knockout mice of the corresponding orthologous gene (gKOs) have a preweaning lethal phenotype with growth failure, preventing longitudinal analysis.

Discrete fractional Fourier transform: Vandermonde approach [PDF]
Based on the definition of the Fourier transform in terms of the number operator of the quantum harmonic oscillator and in the corresponding definition of the fractional Fourier transform, we have obtained the discrete fractional Fourier transform from the discrete Fourier transform in a completely analogous manner. To achieve this, we have used a very

Alterations in myofiber Ca2+ handling systems after eccentrically, damaging exercise. Created in https://BioRender.com. Abstract Exercise‐induced muscle damage (EIMD) is characterized by a severe and prolonged decline in force‐generating capacity. However, the precise cellular mechanisms underlying the observed long‐lasting decline in force‐generating ...

Abstract The European Commission asked EFSA to review whether the authorisation of N,N‐bis(2‐hydroxyethyl)alkyl(C8‐C18)amine (FCM No 19) and N,N‐bis(2‐hydroxyethyl)alkyl(C8‐C18)amine hydrochlorides (FCM No 20) is still in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, as provided for in Article 12(3).

On Fourier re-expansions [PDF]
We study an extension to Fourier transforms of the old problem on absolute convergence of the re-expansion in the sine (cosine) Fourier series of an absolutely convergent cosine (sine) Fourier series. The results are obtained by revealing certain relations between the Fourier transforms and their Hilbert transforms.

Semi-Finite Forms of Bilateral Basic Hypergeometric Series [PDF]
We show that several classical bilateral summation and transformation formulas have semi-finite forms. We obtain these semi-finite forms from unilateral summation and transformation formulas. Our method can be applied to derive Ramanujan's $_1\psi_1$ summation, Bailey's $_2\psi_2$ transformations, and Bailey's $_6\psi_6$ summation.
