UNIMARC の持つ意味UNIMARC is a format specification proposed by the lFLA in l977 as a device for the UBC development. Being a UBC device, the UNIMARC is to give an impetus to national bibliographic control(NBC), hence without NBC development, exchange of bibliographic information on the UNIMARC nor the UBC system would not be achieved.
