Halide perovskites in wide‐spectrum photodetection

open access: yesBulletin of the Korean Chemical Society, EarlyView.
Recent advances in perovskite‐based photodetectors (PPDs), phototransistors, and photoconductors are technically discussed in this review. Moreover, the mechanism behind different harvesting processes in perovskite following the energy of photons is explained, where the gamma or x‐rays are ionizing.

Plasmakristall‐4 Experiment: 10 Years of Operation in Orbit

open access: yesContributions to Plasma Physics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Plasmakristall‐4 (PK‐4) is a microgravity complex plasma laboratory operated for 10 years on board the International Space Station. Its main purpose is the particle‐resolved investigation of generic condensed matter phenomena using strongly coupled suspensions of microparticles immersed in low‐pressure gas‐discharge plasmas.

The segregation of Calb1, Calb2, and Prph neurons reveals distinct and mixed neuronal populations and projections to hair cells in the inner ear and central nuclei

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Three populations of hair cells have a distinct expression of Calb1 and Calb2. (A, A′D) The central is highly positive for Calb1 while surrounding HC are positive for Calb2. Later, a calyx forms primarily with Calb1. (B, B′, D′, D″) Saccule and utricle start out positive for Calb2 but will upregulate the Calb1 in the striola that is primarily forming ...

Great expectations: The EU's social role as a great power manager [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Through the case of EU foreign and security policy we reconsider the concept of great power. According to common wisdom, the EU cannot be a great power, whatever the pronouncements of its top officials may be. We argue that ‘great power’ has been miscast

Fast Decoder for Overloaded Uniquely Decodable Synchronous Optical CDMA

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper, we propose a fast decoder algorithm for uniquely decodable (errorless) code sets for overloaded synchronous optical code-division multiple-access (O-CDMA) systems.

From unipolarity to multipolarity: toward global order, or disorder?

open access: yesAustralian and New Zealand Journal of European Studies
Multipolarity is often viewed as the alternative to a hegemonic international political order managed since 1991 by the United States. With the inauguration of President Donald Trump in January 2025, the unipolar order has not been abandoned even if ...

An algorithm for seizure detection in rodents

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Epilepsy animal research often relies on long‐term intracranial electroencephalographic (iEEG) recordings. Here, we describe an artificial neural network (ANN) algorithm for automatic detection of seizures. Methods The algorithm was trained on iEEG recordings of three mouse models of chronic epilepsy: (1) the pilocarpine model of ...
