Uniportal VATS lymphadenectomy
Lymphadenectomy is an important part of the surgical treatment for lung malignancies. The criticism of limitations in minimally invasive techniques regarding lymphadenectomy has been shown not to be evidenced. We describe the techniques of mediastinal lymphadenectomies during the uniportal VATS (uniVATS) approach with video attachments.

Uniportal VATS segmentectomy and lobectomy yielded similar long‐term survival in stage I NSCLC. Segmentectomy offered faster recovery but fewer N1 nodes. Recurrence was local in stage IA and distant in higher stages, emphasizing stage‐specific surveillance. CTR > 0.5 and stage ≥ IB predicted recurrence.
