ON A UNIQUENESS THEOREM

Mathematics of the USSR-Izvestiya, 1972
With an arbitrary solution of an operator equation of infinite order, a series of elementary solutions is associated. It is shown that if all coefficients of this series are zero, then the solution of the equation is identically zero.

On a Uniqueness Theorem

Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1979
The classical uniqueness theorems of Riesz and Koebe show an important characteristic of boundary behavior of analytic functions in the unit disc. The purpose of this note is to discuss these uniqueness theorems on hyperbolic Riemann surfaces. It will be necessary to give additional hypotheses because Riemann surfaces can be very nasty.

On a uniqueness problem

Mathematical Notes of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, 1974
We prove a uniqueness theorem for series which are a broad generalization of Dirichlet series. In particular, we obtain a uniqueness theorem for series solutions of differential equations.

Uniqueness of Equilibria

2015
In examining the existence conditions for equilibria in N-person games either the Banach or the Kakutani fixed point theorem was used. The Banach fixed point theorem guaranteed the existence of the unique equilibrium, and an iteration algorithm was also suggested to compute the equilibrium.

Uniqueness

1996
A practical question that arises in quantitative modeling is whether the results of a modeling study are unique. In other words, is it possible to arrive at results that differ, at least slightly, from the original ones but nonetheless satisfy the governing equations and honor the input constraints? In the broadest sense, of course, no model is unique (
