Russian Engineering Research, 2015The dependence of the axial cutting force per 1 mm of the cutting edge on the tooth pitch and rake angle in broaching is investigated. Mathematical models of the axial cutting force when broaching holes in steel blanks are statistically assessed, by regression and correlation analysis.
