Large multidimensional digital images of cancer tissue are becoming prolific, but many challenges exist to automatically extract relevant information from them using computational tools. We describe publicly available resources that have been developed jointly by expert and non‐expert computational biologists working together during a virtual hackathon

Range Unit Root (RUR) Tests: Robust against Nonlinearities, Error Distributions, Structural Breaks and Outliers. [PDF]
Since the seminal paper by Dickey and Fuller in 1979, unit-root tests have conditioned the standard approaches to analysing time series with strong serial dependence in mean behaviour, the focus being placed on the detection of eventual unit roots in an ...

Multi‐omics profiling reveals key factors involved in Ewing sarcoma metastasis
Using a mouse model that recapitulates the spread of tumor cells within the body, we have profiled paired tumors and metastasis samples using a multiomics approach combining different layers of biological information. We identified key genes that drive metastasis in Ewing sarcoma.

Semiparametric stationarity and fractional unit roots tests based on data-driven multidimensional increment ratio statistics [PDF]
In this paper, we show that the central limit theorem (CLT) satisfied by the data-driven Multidimensional Increment Ratio (MIR) estimator of the memory parameter d established in Bardet and Dola (2012) for d $\in$ (--0.5, 0.5) can be extended to a semiparametric class of Gaussian fractionally integrated processes with memory parameter d $\in$ (--0.5, 1.

FOXL2 c.402C>G mutation drives granulosa cell tumors. Using CRISPR technology, we selectively corrected this mutation, reducing malignancy and increasing sensitivity to dasatinib and ketoconazole. Transcriptomic changes revealed potential therapeutic targets, demonstrating CRISPR's promise for treating this rare ovarian cancer.

Are Shocks to Commodity Prices Persistent? [PDF]
This paper considers the issue of whether shocks to ten commodity prices (gold, silver, platinum, copper, aluminum, iron ore, lead, nickel, tin, and zinc) are persistent or transitory. We use two recently developed unit root tests, namely the Narayan and

Tumor‐informed whole‐genome sequencing (MRD‐EDGESNV) was applied to detect circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with colorectal adenomas. Using a 95% specificity threshold, established from stage III colorectal cancer patients, ctDNA was detected in 50% of symptomatic and 25% of asymptomatic adenoma cases with median tumor fractions of 5.9 × 10−5 ...

Testing for Unit Roots with Prediction Errors [PDF]
This paper analyzes the relationship between the properties of the prediction errors of a predictor that assumes an autoregressive unit root and its optimal detection. According with this relationship, new autoregressive unit root tests are proposed based on multi-step prediction errors. It is shown that the proposed tests have optimal properties.
