On Minimal Hypersurfaces of a Unit Sphere [PDF]
Minimal compact hypersurface in the unit sphere Sn+1 having squared length of shape operator A2<n are totally geodesic and with A2=n are Clifford hypersurfaces. Therefore, classifying totally geodesic hypersurfaces and Clifford hypersurfaces has importance in geometry of compact minimal hypersurfaces in Sn+1.

Rational points on the unit sphere [PDF]
It is known that the unit sphere, centered at the origin in ℝ n , has a dense set of points with rational coordinates. We give an elementary proof of this fact that includes explicit bounds on the complexity of the coordinates: for every point ν on the unit sphere in ℝ n , and every ν >

The core of the unit sphere of a Banach space
<p>A geometric invariant or preserver is essentially a geometric property of the unit sphere of a real Banach space that remains invariant under the action of a surjective isometry onto the unit sphere of another real Banach space.

Finite frames, frame potentials and determinantal point processes on the sphere [PDF]
Herein, we address the expectations of frame potentials of three types of determinantal point processes(DPPs) on the d-dimensional unit sphere: (i) spherical ensembles on the 2-dimensional unit sphere; (ii) harmonic ensembles on the d-dimensional unit sphere and (iii) jittered sampling point processes on the d-dimensional unit sphere.

When analyzing patient-reported outcome (PRO) data, sources of differential item functioning (DIF) can be multiple and there may be more than one covariate of interest. Hence, it could be of great interest to disentangle their effects.

Quality of Life in Young Adults With Cerebral Palsy: A Longitudinal Analysis of the SPARCLE Study
Introduction: While most people with cerebral palsy (CP) will have a life expectancy similar to that of the general population, international research has primarily focused on childhood and adolescence; and knowledge about the quality of life (QoL) of ...
