Development of 4T1 breast cancer mouse model system for preclinical carbonic anhydrase IX studies
Carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX) is a well‐recognised therapeutic target and prognostic biomarker in cancer. We developed and characterised a robust murine breast cancer model system that is suitable for CAIX studies in vitro and in vivo—it comprises both CAIX‐positive and CAIX‐negative controls and provides a solid platform for the comprehensive ...

Circles in the unit sphere of a Hilbert space
AbstractWe construct on the unit sphere of a Hilbert space two closed sets F1, F2 such that F1 ∩ F2 = ∅ and F1 ∩ Q ≠ ∅, F2 ∩ Q ≠ ∅ for any subspace Q of dimension 2.

Mitochondria contain two mitoribosome rescue factors, ICT1 and MTRFR (C12orf65). ICT1 also functions as a mitoribosomal protein in mice and humans, and its loss is lethal. Although Mtrfr knockout mice could not be generated, knockout zebrafish lines for ict1 and mtrfr were established.

Totally geodesic property of the unit tangent sphere bundle with g-natural metrics
In this paper, we consider the tangent bundle of a Riemannian manifold (M, g) with g-natural metrics and among all of these metrics, we specify those with respect to which the unit tangent sphere bundle with induced g-natural metric is totally geodesic ...

Deforming submanifolds of arbitrary codimension in a sphere [PDF]
In this paper, we prove some convergence theorems for the mean curvature flow of closed submanifolds in the unit sphere $\mathbb{S}^{n+d}$ under integral curvature conditions. As a consequence, we obtain several differentiable sphere theorems for certain submanifolds in $\mathbb{S}^{n+d}$.

Crime Against History: Slavery, Race, and the 1776 Report
ABSTRACT With the 2025 executive order, “Ending Radical Indoctrination in K‐12 Schooling,” the Trump administration reestablished the 1776 Commission, which produced The 1776 Report. This article argues that this report, which is an unsubtle response to The 1619 Project, reveals how White Christian Nationalists wish to mandate that a hyper‐patriotic ...

Flat spots on unit spheres [PDF]
AbstractA flat spot in a Banach space X is an element x ∈ Sx = {x ∈ X: ‖x‖ = 1} with the property that the infimum m(x) of the lengths of all curves in Sx joining x to −x is 2. Flat spots occur in every non-superreflexive space when suitably renormed. A study is made of the geometric implications of the existence of flat spots.
