On Parametrization of the Linear GL(4,C) and Unitary SU(4) Groups in Terms of Dirac Matrices

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2008
Parametrization of 4 × 4-matrices G of the complex linear group GL(4,C) in terms of four complex 4-vector parameters (k,m,n,l) is investigated. Additional restrictions separating some subgroups of GL(4,C) are given explicitly.

Unitarity at the late time boundary of de Sitter

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
The symmetry group of the de Sitter spacetime, accommodates fields of various masses and spin among its unitary irreducible representations. These unitary representations are labeled by the spin and the weight contribution to the scaling dimension and ...

Coherent Frames [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2018
Frames which can be generated by the action of some operators (e.g. translation, dilation, modulation, ...) on a single element $f$ in a Hilbert space, called coherent frames.

On unitary collineation groups

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 1972
If II is a finite projective plane of order q2 over the field K = GF(q2), then 17 admits a polarity 6 which is induced on I7 by a nondegenerate hermitian form on the underlying vector space. The subgroup of the little projective group PSL,(q2) which centralizes 6 is the projective special unitary group PSU,(q). The purpose of this paper is to show that

Guesstimation of Molecular Ensemble Electrostatics Properties Through SCERPA‐DFT Calculation: Molecular Field‐Coupled Nanocomputing as a Case Study

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
This work presents a framework combining the Self‐Consistent Electrostatic Potential Algorithm (SCERPA) and Density‐Functional Theory calculations to efficiently evaluate the electronic properties of molecular ensembles. The approach achieves ab initio‐comparable precision while significantly reducing computation time and provides the first DFT ...

Emergent behaviours of a non-abelian quantum synchronisation model over the unitary group

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Applied Mathematics
We introduce a new non-abelian quantum synchronisation model over the unitary group, represented as a gradient flow, where state matrices asymptotically converge to a common one up to phase translation.

Triangle Groups as Subgroups of Unitary Groups

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 2001
AbstractThis paper presents a new approach to (2,3,k)-generated groups. We first show that the triangle group T(2,3,k) is isomorphic to a subgroup of a two-dimensional projective unitary group over a ring. Then our main purpose is to determine the values of k for which this subgroup coincides with the whole projective unitary group.

Born to Fear the Machine? Genetic and Environmental Influences on Negative Attitudes toward AI Agents

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Why do some people fear or distrust AI agents more than others? This twin study shows that negative attitudes toward AI may partly stem from genetic factors, linking them to traits like victim sensitivity and moral beliefs. These findings show that it is not only nurture but also nature that shapes our views of AI, with implications for future human–AI

The ZX-calculus is complete for the single-qubit Clifford+T group [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Proceedings in Theoretical Computer Science, 2014
The ZX-calculus is a graphical calculus for reasoning about pure state qubit quantum mechanics. It is complete for pure qubit stabilizer quantum mechanics, meaning any equality involving only stabilizer operations that can be derived using matrices can ...
