Diagrammatic Schemes for Nonlinear Optical Interactions

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, EarlyView.
Conventional diagrammatic approaches (blue frames in the figure) to semi‐classical nonlinear optical interactions emphasize either the bra and ket matter states (double‐sided Feynman diagrams and Liouville pathways) or the frequencies of the bra and ket radiative processes between energy levels (Albrecht notation). We propose a field‐type modification (

Photonic Energy‐Coherence Theorem and Experimental Validations

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
A thermodynamic framework for quantum wave‐particle duality is presented, where each behaviors attribute is quantified through the extractable energy of a system. The energy capacity establishes a direct connection to both fringe visibility and path distinguishability. Active control of single‐photon states demonstrates distinct energetic contributions

Nonlinear Distortion Equalization in Multi‐Span Optical Links Via a Feed‐Forward Photonic Neural Network

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
A feed‐forward photonic neural network equalizes linear and nonlinear impairments in multi‐span IMDD optical fiber transmission. The linear processing stage employs an 8‐tap optical Finite Impulse Response filter integrated on a silicon photonics platform, while the end‐of‐line photodetector represents the nonlinear stage.

Approximation of Dirac operators with δ${\delta }$‐shell potentials in the norm resolvent sense. I. Qualitative results

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, EarlyView.
Abstract In this paper, the approximation of Dirac operators with general δ$\delta$‐shell potentials supported on C2$C^2$‐curves in R2$\mathbb {R}^2$ or C2$C^2$‐surfaces in R3$\mathbb {R}^3$, which may be bounded or unbounded, is studied. It is shown under suitable conditions on the weight of the δ$\delta$‐interaction that a family of Dirac operators ...
